Product Details

For those with limited time and tight budgets, we offer this solution to help you gain access to the QNUK Level 2 Award for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry (Top Up) (RQF) needed your SIA Close Protection license renewal.

Due to the high volume of requests from those wishing to attend a shortened FREC3 course or seeking direct entry onto FREC4 based on prior learning—Qualsafe has conducted a thorough mapping exercise. This includes comparisons with both regulated qualifications and unregulated courses designed for emergency services first responders.

This guidance outlines which qualifications, including certain unregulated casualty care/first responder courses, are accepted for learners wishing to attend the 2-day FREC3 RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) course. This course addresses the knowledge and skills not already covered by the learner's previous training.

Important Note:
All learners must have completed their relevant course or qualification within 24 months of the FREC3 course start date. Regardless of prior learning, all learners are still required to successfully complete all FREC3 assessments:

  • Component 1: Patient assessment and management
  • Component 2: Emergency trauma
  • Component 3: Focused emergency and urgent care

Learners must also pass the corresponding multiple-choice question paper for each component and demonstrate comprehensive understanding and practical application.
